I found that Oppo used to make some awesome BD-players with HDMI-inputs and "pre-amp" outputs up to 7.1 systems, but they don't sell them any more so that seems like a dud.

See, I've had a decades long passion for Bang&Olufsen speakers, and I currently have a pair of BeoLab 6000's which I'll stick as side speakers, and looking to buy a pair of BeoLab 8000's for the front, and then something to go along with that for the center channel, and a good enough subwoofer.
